Erie CPR is not giving up their efforts to save the Mcbride Viaduct Bridge

The McBride Viaduct may be coming down piece by piece, but Erie CPR is not giving up their efforts to save the bridge.

"We want our bridge," said Erie Cpr member Luchetta Manus. Members of the Erie CPR group are taking their cause to a court in Philadelphia. President of the group Adam Trott says the appeal action is moving forward.

"Right now they have taken down nearly half the bridge we want to put it back and restore that safe connection to the communities," said Trott.

The group believes that saving the bridge would be empowering for the Eastside of Erie. The main message of the conference was that the fight is not over.

Adam Trottt said that Penndot has always been open and helpful and that City Hall has been lukewarm.

They received a notice from the court in Philadelphia that briefings are due from the Plaintiffs and Defendants no later than January 22nd.
