Has Erie made any improvements since being ranked the worst city for black Americans last year?

According to online publication ’24 Wall Street,’ the city has fallen off the list of 15 cities this year.  Its Editor in Chief says it does not take much for the ranking to drastically change over a year, “The number one city and the number 15 or 20 city are not significantly different from one another.”

President of the NAACP, Gary Horton, says, “I don’t think the report changes much in the average black’s about mind whether Erie is a good place or an easy place or a promising place for them to live or not.”

The metro area ranked as the worst for black Americans this year is in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area in Iowa.
