The Iroquois School District Foundation launched www.eriefoodtruckfestival.com today with much-anticipated details on the upcoming event. Food truck vendors must submit applications by April 20th. The food truck line up will be announced on April 23rd alongside festival sponsors. Groups interested in becoming a sponsor are encouraged to contact festival organizers via the website.
The Festival, to be held Saturday, June 2nd at the G.E. Fields in Lawrence Park from 2pm to 8pm, will feature local fare provided by local food truck operators and several local bands for an afternoon of food, fun, and entertainment. Musical acts will be announced this month.
“This is a local event featuring local bands, local breweries and of course local food trucks,” said Kate Philips the Festival Chairperson. “We encourage all Erie County based food truck operators to apply. The overwhelming response to the Festival since its announcement last month is proof positive that Erie County is home to amazing food trucks and that this region is hungry for a Food Truck Festival.”
The Festival has been organized to benefit the Iroquois School District Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves to enhance the educational opportunities for all District students.
