The start of school is leses than two weeks away and crews are working in full force on the renovation efforts at Erie High School.
Numerous companies are on site. They’re working to replace the structural steel damaged by the fire, adding a roof to the C-wing, reestablishing damaged plumbing, and restoring power. Custodial staff is also cleaning the building.
Eric Seibert, Director of Facilities and Maintenance for the School District says, “Like any project, I’m happy with a lot of things and there’s things that I feel challenged with still… but we’re working on making sure that they go appropriately.”
The demolition efforts are expected to take another two weeks to complete.
