Erie is welcoming more than 100 mayors and leaders from across the state as it hosts the 118th Pennsylvania Municipal League Summit. The PML Summit, held at the Convention Center, brings together municipal officials to discuss the problems facing each community and to develop practical solutions.
Between meetings and presentations from several guest speakers, Mayor Joe Sinnott says this is a great opportunity to showcase our city. “Everyone will be pretty much busy the entire time they are here,” says Sinnott, “but, there are nice things like the Host City Dinner. Hopefully, there will be some downtime so they can get out and enjoy the community and the city with their families.”
The summit runs from Thursday to Saturday, featuring tours of Presque Isle and two manufacturing facilities along the Bayfront.
