An Erie man charged with attempted murder is headed to trial.
Clifton Barney, 24, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
Police said Barney shot a 25-year-old man near the corner of East 10th and Reed streets on April 20.
The victim in the case did not show up for the hearing leading Erie police detectives to arrest and charge a female observer for intimidation of a victim.
The judge ruled all charges are headed to trial.
His bond was set a $250,000.
