Erie man charged with stealing $10,000 worth of trading cards

ERIE, Pa. — A man is charged that he stole $10,000 worth of trading cards in Erie.

Police said a neighbor caught Dennis Rodgers Jr., 29, breaking into cars on Pebble Drive.

Rodgers allegedly admitted to stealing $10,000 worth of Magic: The Gathering trading cards just a few blocks away from where he was arrested.

Police searched his home and found a bin full of stolen items including two BB guns and a laptop.

Rodgers admitted to stealing from other vehicles as well, according to police.

He is charged with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.

Rodgers is in the Erie County Prison on $15,000 bond.
