ERIE, Pa. — An Erie man who is charged with threatening a police officer after resisting arrest will head to trial to defend his case.

All charges against Hody Al-Maliki, 18, were bound over for court during his preliminary hearing Thursday morning.

Al-Maliki reportedly ran from police during questioning at Central Tech in December before he pushed an officer and resisted arrest, police said.

Police said he also threatened to kill the officers and their families.

He is facing charges of aggravated assault on an officer, terroristic threats and other related charges.
