ERIE, Pa. -- An Erie man was sentenced to prison after a shooting that struck two people in July 2016.
Rakeem Jones, 23, was sentenced to one to two years behind bars in the Erie County Prison and 10 years probation.
Jones pleaded guilty in February to reckless endangerment and other gun-related charges in an agreement with the state to have attempted homicide dropped.
Jones hit two people by gunfire in the 1000 block of East 26th Street on July 28 after shooting at a car.
Jones is still awaiting prosecution on other gun charges for a separate incident that happened in December.
