Local News

A battle with cancer and a death sentence turns around for one Erie man.

Adam Frano was diagnosed with cancer last November.

The disease spread so quickly that he was given just months to live earlier this year.

Then, the unthinkable happened.

Without any treatment, his body started fighting back against it.

Adam’s cancer started as tumor in his kidney. It quickly spread to his stomach, bladder, and lungs.

Doctors told him he had months to live.

Adam and his wife Danielle planned his funeral and started paying for it.To enjoy the last months they had together the family started vacationing. At that point Adam had lost 30 pounds, was using a cane and could barely walk.

When Adam got back from vacation, he went in for a pet scan and the doctor was shocked.80% of the cancer was gone.

He’s gained the weight back and says he is barely in any pain.

Adam is now working on a book called not yet to share his story with the world. Adam hopes to finish the book by the end of the year.
