The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority announces its new leader and its a familiar face.
In tonight’s monthly meeting, Jeremy Peterson is officially revealed as the new chief executive officer for EMTA. Peterson began working for the transit authority in 2011 and had been serving as acting director. He says his staff will continue to work hard and has several initiatives they want to get started.
“One of the big initiatives that we are going to start at EMTA is customer service. We do know that there is issues and we want to better that and make it more of a paramount transit service in Pennsylvania,” said Peterson.
Peterson says transparency is key and wants his staff to continue to do that.
