The Erie School Board is being asked to give one local charter school a failing grade.
The district has prepared a notice of non-renewal for the Erie Rise Leadership Academy. As first reported by the Erie Times News, that notice is on the agenda for tomorrow’s school board meeting. District officials cite ten different reasons for non-renewal. Among them, the district claims Erie Rise has failed to meet performance standards and violated charter school law. The school’s current charter expires June 30th.
