The Erie School District just received fourteen million dollars thanks to the Department of Education and Governor Tom Wolf.

Along with the money, the Erie School District will also be getting a new financial administrator. Charles Zogby has been appointed to oversee the district’s finances.

Erie School District Superintendent Dr. Brian Polito says “I think it’s going to be a positive process. The Department of Education has been a great partner with us. They have been a strong advocate for us down in Harrisburg.”

Zogby will start his new role as financial administrator on March 26.
