If you’d like to visit the Erie Zoo before they close for the winter, the window of opportunity is closing.
With the winter season well on its way, you have just a couple more chances to visit the animals at the zoo. The gates will close for the season at 5pm on Friday. The staff will remain active, caring for the animals and continuing their day-to-day work, but the public won’t be able to visit again until spring.
Erie Zoo President Scott Mitchell tells us, “…of course, there are lots of other ways to see the zoo; through website or we have lots of great classes for adults and children so you can still get your zoo fix during that time”.
The zoo will reopen for the 2019 season on March 1st, as usual.
