A group trying to end homelessness in Erie marks a milestone tonight.
The Erie United Methodist Alliance celebrating 130 years of ministry with a Gala at the Ambassador Conference Center. EUMA’s primary mission is to make homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring. Close to three hundred people attended the Gala. This evening’s event was a chance to honor what they called an “enormous group” of supporters.
“The folks in northwest Pennsylvania would be hard to beat anywhere in the world for their kindness, generosity and support. So, many, many thanks to everyone tonight,” said EUMA Executive Director, Kurt Crays.
EUMA serves about 2,000 people every year.
