The school year is right around the corner and that means it’s time to leap into the Jump Back to School Expo.
This is the fourth year WQLN has presented the expo that provides families with a one-stop experience of the latest in products, services and resources.
This year, the Jump Back to School Expo will be held at Penn State Behrend’s Junker Center and will feature Penn State’s engineering department with several exhibits aimed at science, technology, engineering and math.
Home Depot will also be there helping kids build special projects.
Free haircuts and school supplies are also part of the expo.
And this is not just for students.
“We know that school choice is important to a child’s academic success, so parents and their children can talk to the school admission reps there and also get information about nutrition, social and emotional well being,” WQLN education outreach manager Kathy Carducci said.
The free Jump Back to School Expo will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to all students K-12.
