Fairview residents against cell tower being built

Local News

The construction of a cell phone tower has some neighbors in the Lakeland Drive area in Fairview upset.

The 160-foot tower was approved to be constructed about 800 feet from the end of Lakeland Drive in Fairview.  Some neighbors say they are upset with the Fairview Zoning Board’s approval of a variance for the tower.

At a recent Zoning Board hearing, residents near the tower site were 100% in opposition to the variance. Neighbors are meeting tonight at Saint Stephen’s Church on Dutch Road to discuss appealing the variance.
