Bird watchers from across the country are in Erie this weekend. The annual ‘Festival of Birds’ is back at Presque Isle.
The event allows bird-lovers to experience the migration of the birds that come through the state park. The festival’s founder, Janet Price, says participants may see up to 100 different types of birds. “The beauty of trees and flowers and birds and animals, it’s almost goosebumps.. it gives you goosebumps. It’s inspiring.”
Apart from bird-watching, there’s a number of workshops for participants like ‘Birding for Beginners’ and ‘Drawing for Nature’.
