Former Millcreek Supervisor Rich Figaski has lost his latest attempt to get unemployment benefits from the township.

Monday, an appeal referee ruled that the township did not have to pay benefits.

Figaski left the township after deciding not to run for re-election, but because supervisors also do township jobs, he put in for benefits.

After first agreeing to those benefits, the state later reversed that decision, which the referee upheald.

Figaski could appeal to a state review board in Harrisburg.
