Fire blazes on East 32 Street

A fire burned on Erie’s East Side on Monday.

It was just before four o’clock Monday afternoon when firefighters were sent to the 200 block of East 32nd Street.

According to Erie County 911, first reports indicated it began in a light fixture, but was described as a working fire by the time the first crews got to the scene.

City firefighters were assisted by volunteers from the Westlake, Brookside, and Lawrence Park Departments.

No injuries were reported.
