Firefighters battled a structure fire in the 1100 block of West 20th Street.
Erie police reported the fire just before 3 a.m. when they were investigating another incident.
The fire was knocked down around 3:10a.m., but according to reports, there were two victims on scene.
According to firefighters at the scene, two people suffered smoke inhalation.
No word on their conditions.
One man was pulled from the house by firefighters.
The house was not severely damaged.
