Fire starts in General McLane High School wood shop

Shortly after 10am, emergency calls went out announcing a fire at General McLane High School.  A tanker was called and students were evacuated from the area.  

The school district posted this announcement to social media:

Shortly after 10 a.m., the dust collector in the HS wood shop filled part of the HS with smoke. All students are safe. The students were evacuated to the middle school. The fire department is currently here working to get the smoke out of the building. We expect the situation to be handled & classes to resume.

No word yet on the exact cause of the fire.
