Children ran the show Sunday morning at an Erie church.
Children at the First Church of the Covenant lead the service Sunday and hosted the annual the children’s Christmas Pageant.
This year’s theme was “Christmas in the Country.”
Organizers said it’s a great way to lead into the holidays.
“The children and youth love leading the service and being a part of a worshiping community and being able to lead adults. I think it’s just a really special thing for them every single year,” said Britney Knight, the Director of Youth and Family Ministries.
Guests also brought unwrapped toys, books and stuffed animals for the last day of the church’s toy collection.
