Flu numbers finally starting to decline, 312 cases reported in Erie last week

The number of reported flu cases decreased across Pennsylvania last week, but the numbers still remain high for Erie County.  

Last week, there were 312 cases reported in Erie County which is down from the season high of 326 the week before.  In all of Pennsylvania, there have been 60,000 cases of the flu with 105 of them contributing to the patient’s death.

Erie County’s numbers remain some of the highest weekly totals since the outbreak of H1N1 in 2009.
