Former PA governor Ed Rendell announces he’s living with Parkinson’s Disease

A popular former governor of Pennsylvania reveals shocking health news.  Former PA Governor Ed Rendell has announced that he has been living with Parkinson’s Disease.

The 74-year-old noted that he started showing slight tremors three and a half years ago and sought treatment.  He also said that his symptoms have been stabilized through aggressive treatment.

Governor Tom Wolf said, in a statement, “Pennsylvania has seen few leaders as tough as Ed and we have full confidence that neither has Parkinson’s disease…  Ed should know that the entire commonwealth is standing behind him and hoping for the continued success of his treatment and therapy.”
