A former playmate claims she had a nine-month affair with Donald Trump, but her story was never told.
The New Yorker reports that, just days before the election, Karen McDougal sold her account of the alleged affair for $150,000 to AMI, the media company that owns the National Enquirer. According to the New Yorker, the affair started in 2006, two years after President Trump married Melania.
McDougal met Trump while he was filming the apprentice at the Playboy Mansion. A White House spokesperson says the president denies having ever had an affair with McDougal.
Ronan Farrow, Journalist, says, “These, you know, dirty stories about high-profile individuals would be used as leverage over those individuals – obviously, national security implications here when that happens to be the president.”
While the White House says this is fake news, just this week, Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen admitted that he paid an adult film actress $130,000 of his own money to sign a non-disclosure agreement about an alleged affair with Trump.
