Fort LeBeouf High school and middle school locked down this morning for reported ‘drill’

Shortly before 9am, State Police and K-9 dogs were called to Fort LeBeouf High School and Middle School for a lockdown. 

After contacting the school’s office, according to Superintendent Richard Emerick, this was a normal lockdown drill.

However, students were unaware of the drill, concerning parents. Emerick telling us the district conducts several drills throughout the year; some announced and others not.

The drill lasted about an hour.
