Free Wi-Fi could be coming to downtown Erie

Local News

It looks like free public Wi-Fi will be coming to downtown Erie.

Erie City Council members gave the thumbs up to enter a professional service agreement with Quantela Inc., a global company that’s working with the city and the Erie Innovation District.

The plan would be to bring Wi-Fi to public places throughout the opportunity zone tracts. The intent of having Wi-Fi downtown would be to make those areas more attractive for investment.
