A gambling expansion bill, which would generate revenue for the state, is waiting final approval in the Pennsylvania House before heading to the Senate.
If the bill passes, Pennsylvania would be the fourth state to permit casino-style games from electronic devices.
The House voted down a proposal that would place video game terminals in bars and taverns, but Rep. Ryan Bizzaro said they did vote to allow slot machines in airports and off-track betting sites.
Bizzarro said he had some problems with the bill because of the substantial share of money generated by Presque Isle Downs and Casino locally.
Bizzarro said there are still many questions to be answered regarding how the bill will affect the entire state.
