Honoring start up businesses and entrepreneurs takes center stage at Gannon University Thursday morning.
Fifteen technology driven ideas and companies spent 8 weeks in the Erie Technology Incubators “Technology Business Accelerator” session, learning how to further develop and implement their respective ideas.
Four finalists were recognized today but only one of them could walk away as this year’s winner of $10,000 and business development services. That winner – Dabble, a group of Gannon students who wanted to make an online platform on which other students could stay engaged and find friends in a new college setting.
Former participants of the accelerator session, Data Inventions and Render Fx gave a short presentation about how going through the 8 week program helped their businesses grow and further develop.
The accelerator program has seen 70 business go through in just 2 short years of operation
