Prospective students had the chance to get a sneak peak at all Gannon University has to offer today.
More than 300 high school and non-traditional students attended the fall open house.
The open house is an opportunity for the students but also their families learn more about the academic programs, student life, learning abroad as well as varsity and club sports.
Bill Edmondson, vice president of admissions, says, “We find that students that come to campus more often actually enroll more. And this is a really good introduction for students. We’ll encourage them to come back to campus to spend some more time with faculty, lab and meet with other admissions counselor.”
Camry King, prospective student, says, “It’s very helpful. You’re able to come in and see how everything’s ran here, what kind of clubs they have. So it makes it really welcoming.”
Students and families also could tour the classrooms and labs.
