If you’re traveling, get ready to pay a little more at the pump. The bad news is that the national average for a gallon of gas has risen to $2.53 per gallon; the highest level since 2014. The good news, though, is that gasoline production remains very strong at a time of year when it tends to be weak, which could mean larger discounts in weeks ahead.
Here’s a look at where gas prices are cheapest in the region:
- Stations near I-90 and Perry Highway have gas for $2.65 a gallon.
- The Circle K in Waterford has gas for $2.62 a gallon.
- Conneaut Ohio has gas for only $2.29 at Love’s Travel Stop.
