Today, the average across the nation is much lower at $2.12 a gallon.
Gas is selling in Erie for as low as $2.15 along Perry Highway and Interstate 90.
The Buffalo Speed Check on Buffalo Road is selling gas for $2.19 a gallon.
On Upper Peach Street, the cheapest place you’ll find is at the Delta Sonic at $2.28 a gallon.
Nearly all of the remaining Erie stations have gas for $2.29 a gallon.
The best bang for your buck in the nation is down south. You’ll find gas in South Carolina for an average of $1.83 a gallon.
