West Erie Plaza is once again filled with local food trucks and vendors. The Second Annual Gears and Grub is taking over the plaza with around a dozen food trucks and vendors setting up camp for the weekend.
Locals say they started Gears and Grub last year as a place for local food trucks and vendors who could not be a part of Roar on the Shore to go. But, visitors from all over, as well as local residents, make it a go-to place.
Mike Jennings of Bricks and Stick Wood Fired Pizza tells us, “it’s a good feeling. It’s nice seeing people go local. It’s a very fun time. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves. We all enjoy it. I can’t complain one bit.”
Gears and Grub runs today through Saturday, 12pm-9pm.
There will also be live entertianment each day. For a full schedule of bands and vendors, please visit the Gears and Grub website at http://www.westerieplaza.com/grub.
