Girard, OH officer remembered at vigil

A Girard, Ohio Police Officer is remembered at a vigil Sunday after he was shot and killed on duty over the weekend. 

Girard Police Officer Justin Leo responded to a reported domestic violence call when he was shot and killed in a town northwest of Youngstown. His partner then returned fire, killing the suspect.  Leo was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown but died shortly after arriving.  

The alleged shooter has not been identified.  Officer Leo was a five year veteran of the Girard Police Force.
