Eighty special needs children and adults are participating in Gliding Stars for their 18th annual ice show. The for this year’s show is “Paradise” live music will be performed on Ice by the band Key West Express.
Dozens of performers showed up to rehearse for the skating show Gliding Stars at Mercyhurst University. The talent laced up and hit the ice rink. Volunteer Phil Hirsch told us that although some of the performers are special needs they can skate a lot better than him. Gliding stars is a fun opportunity for both the perfomers and their parents.
Special Guest stars will be Olympian Todd Eldredge along with the Mercyhurst University Men’s D1 Ice Hockey Team. The show will be 7pm tomorrow at Mercyhurst’s Ice Arena.
