It’s the largest yoga event in Erie and guests will be experiencing something unique; glowing in the dark. It’s the first ever Glow Yoga class.
The event is benefitting Safe Harbor Behavioral Health, a local outpatient mental health clinic. Coordinators of Glow Yoga wanted the fundraising event to align more closely with Safe Harbor’s mission.
Jill Crawford Murphey of YogaErie says, “There’s a physical benefit to it, for sure, but there’s also that mental and spiritual benefit.”
Michelle Eidenmuller of Safe Harbor Behavioral Health, says, “We’re going to have artists painting people up in glow paint, glow balloons, glow necklaces, glow bracelets, pretty much everything ‘glow’! We’ll have some vendors there as well and auction baskets worth at least $200-600.”
Glow Yoga is happening this Friday and more than 150 people are expected to be there. It will be from 6pm-9pm at the Ambassador Conference Center and tickets start at $40. For more information and to buy tickets, you can visit https://www.hamothealthfoundation.org/events/glow-yoga.
