Governor Tom Wolf was in North East to talk about “Restore Pennsylvania”

Local News

Restore Pennsylvania will look at local issues that we don’t always have resources to take care of like the aging infrastructure in our state. Issues like the lack of internet access can cause people to move away from small towns in the Commonwealth.

I want Pennsylvania to be everything it can be, said Governor Tom Wolf.

The Governor met with local leaders and took a tour of Baker Creek in North East. Water from the creek is going underneath some buildings in the area. Many of the buildings are also having flooding issues.

There’s a lot of need in Pennsylvania we’re an older State, said Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper

The program is meant to provide funding for road upgrades, blight issues, and weather related issues.
