Harborcreek Supervisors held a board meeting Wednesday night to discuss a number of proposals. First, the preliminary plans for the State Troopers Headquarters alongside the municipal building have been approved. Following that the board held a number of public hearings regarding plans to build a new housing complex in the area. The project was originally proposed as a 53-unit complex, pending the rezoning of 10.2 acres from business to multi-residential. That request was denied, however, the board did approve plans for the company, Woda Properties, to continue with a reduced, 31-unit plan. The complex will be named Gifford Commons and will be located off of Buffalo Road near the WalMart store in Harborcreek.
