Hitting the road for Thanksgiving? You won’t be alone, and it’s not because of low gas prices.
According to gasbuddy.com, gas prices are actually at the highest price since 2014 for this time of year. The number of drivers on the road is expected to increase by 20%. The average gasoline prices in Erie have not moved in the past week, currently sitting at $2.83 per gallon.
The lowest gas prices in the area can be found at the Delta Sonic on Peach Street, at $2.78 and the Get-go on Peach Street and the Pilot near I-90 both have gas for $2.79 a gallon.
