An unidentified adult male has been charged with reckless endangerment after rounds from a high-powered rifle penetrated a home in Corry. Saturday evening at about 6 pm, three rounds were fired towards a home on West Washington Street Extension, just outside the city limits. One of those rounds entered a kitchen window, traveled through a refrigerator, an interior door jamb and then lodged in the ceiling. No injuries were reported. The suspect was seen firing a high-powered rifle in the wooded area nearby. It is not known if the suspect was shooting at a target and the home was struck by accident or if the home was the intended target.
