Volunteers will help determine homeless trends in Erie county tonight. It’s what’s known as the ‘Single Point in Time Count’.
Around 10pm, various organizations will set out into the cold to count all of the homeless people not in shelters. The homeless in the shelters across the region will also be accounted for.
In 2017, there were 1063 total homeless counted, from those, 941 were in housing, 114 had unmet needs and 8 were unsheltered. For the full report, click here.
