Human society to host animal cruelty forum

ERIE, Pa. – The Humane Society of Northwest Pennsylvania will host an animal cruelty and dog law forum on Thursday at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.

The forum is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Recent animal cruelty cases has raised questions from the community about laws and roles of various animal enforcement officers.

The event is free and open to the public and will including discussion from panel members that include Rob Culbertson, city of Erie animal enforcement officer, and Lisa Stiles from the humane society.
