Some kids got to enjoy their Sunday breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
Hundreds made their way to Asbury on Sunday for the Millcreek Kiwanis breakfast with the bunny. Once in they got to enjoy some pancakes and sausage, but when they were done that’s when the fun began.
The excited youngsters got to make their way to a different room to play and hang out with the bunny. Organizers say one reason this event is such a success is because of the tradition that’s come out of it.
“The older kids will tell younger brother and sister what’s going to happen, saying, I know where the Easter bunny is. Then, they’ll go upstairs to see the bunny and come down all face painted later. Its a lot of fun,” said Scott Totten the events pancake flipping aficionado.
This year marked the 20th year for the breakfast and every year its been held on Palm Sunday.
