Hundreds of people steered their way to WQLN’s annual gears to beers Saturday afternoon.
Participants in Gears to Beers event had the choice of a 40 or 25 mile course.
Riders then ended up at Sprague Farm and Brew Works for a few cold ones.
Gears to Beers serves as a fundraiser for the public broadcasting network.
Director of Development Lisa Counasse says the ride also helps support local business.
Counasse says, “We like to support Sprague’s Farm and everything that they do in the community and enjoy micro craft beer while getting some exercise along the way.”
Counasse says around 300 riders came out and she says the event usually raises around $10,000.
