A Chautauqua County hunter is being indicted on second degree manslaughter charges after police say he admitted to shooting a woman.

Thomas Jadlowski, 34, was arraigned Thursday in Chautauqua County Court on charges of second degree manslaughter and hunting after hours.

Police say Jadlowski surrendered himself to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office after accidently shooting Rosemary Billquist, 43, who was out walking her dogs.

The shooting incident happening just before 5:30 p.m. November 22nd.

The judge set bond at $50,000 cash or $100,000 property. He’s due back in court in January.

The Sheriff’s Office and district attorney will be holding a new conference at 4:30 p.m.
