Children are using more than their imagination, they’re getting a chance to interact with wildlife.
Thousands of children had a chance to explore various career fields this weekend at the first annual Imagination Expotarium at the Bayfront Convention Center.
Eight zones featured themes like science, sports and animals.
The two-day event came to a close this afternoon, but not before getting a last look at Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show.
“They just love it. It gives them hand-on stuff. It gives them a chance to see up close things they see on television, and we do a crazy show to talk about it and show the kids and it’s just a fun way to go,” said Bwana Jim.
Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show features wildlife that were injured and in need of rescue.
