The Erie County Technical School building could potentially be getting some renovations.
The Joint Operating Committee met on Wednesday to discuss plans to renovate the internal piping and structure of the building. Renovations were delayed for about seven years due to economic issues.
Now, the committee is discussing the processes to take to make those renovations happen. “So after seven years… We’re back now,” said Sam Ring, chairman of the Joint Operating Committee.”It seems to be some momentum to do something in the near future, that could still be a couple years out, but we’re trying to get everything lined up and ready to go.
The Joint Operating Committee is made up of representatives from 11 school districts in Erie County.
