The extra day of the Blues and Jazz Festival kicks off tonight, rain or shine!
This is the first time the festival has opened on a Friday instead of a Saturday. Coordinators added the extra day in an effort to add more arts to the event. Guests can enjoy ‘Food Truck Friday’ as well. The food trucks will only be around tonight, but there will be vendors set up throughout the weekend.
Erie Arts & Culture Executive Director, Amanda Brown Sissem, says, “It’s not just about the food trucks today but it is about expanding our thoughts on this festival. We think this is a great platform from which a more comprehensive art and music festival can be formed.”
Coordinators say the festival will be up and running this weekend, no matter the weather!
