A Jefferson Global Summit presentation by award-winning journalist Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 9th at 7:30pm at Gannon University’s Hammermill Center.

Matthews will discuss politics, America, and his latest book, ‘Bobby Kennedy: A Raging Spirit,’ in a lecture and Q&A with C-SPAN Senior Executive Producer and Political Editor Steve Scully at Hammermill Center, Peach Street and South Park Row in this final event of the Jefferson Educational Society’s Global Summit X speaker series.

“We were disappointed that a storm in Washington, DC, prompted the postponement of the original Chris Matthews presentation, but are very grateful we could quickly reschedule this highly anticipated event,” noted Jefferson President Ferki Ferati.  “Chris Matthews is a major figure in national news reporting, analysis, and politics, and we look forward to hearing his many insights on the American scene.”

Tickets, priced at $35, are still available for the December 9th event, and all tickets purchased for the originally scheduled event will be honored.
